Touch Compass Recipient of Creative NZ Arts Leadership Investment Programme
 Touch Compass is pleased to announce that its expression of interest in Creative New Zealand's Arts Leadership Investment Programme has been successful. The Arts Board recognised Touch Compass's ability to deliver the programme's key roles of creating, presenting and distributing high quality contemporary New Zealand dance, and providing professional development services and information to the wider dance sector. This is a great coup for Touch Compass and will enable us to truly develop our training and performance programme over a number of years.

Triple Bill Tours to Hastings & Wellington
JUNE 2011
 Touch Compass is pleased to announce it has received funding from Creative New Zealand to tour its recent highly successful sell-out performance of Triple Bill. The show will tour on 4 June to Hastings and on 9, 10, 11 June to Wellington.

Encompass Community Classes Auckland
 7th May - 9th July 2011
The workshops include people with and without disabilities and focus on developing communication through movement and dance. Based on Contact Improvisation a dance form whereby two or more people move together, sharing weight and balancing by following a point of contact that flows between them. A spontaneous dance emerges as participants with diverse movement capabilities discover a common ground for self expression and creativity.
