ENCOMPASS SATURDAY COMMUNITY CLASSES AUCKLAND
Working with contemporary and contact improvisation techniques participants will explore their body moving in space, solo and with others. The sessions will build body awareness, self esteem and are lots of fun. Touch Compass integrated dance (ID) tutor Sue Cheesman who has a wealth of experience teaching integrated dance will lead the classes supported by Touch Compass dancers. Class is open to all levels of ability. Please complete and return enrolment form.

WELLINGTON COMMUNITY INTEGRATED DANCE CLASSES
These classes are funded by Wellington City Council run by the Wellington integrated dance group and supported by Touch Compass. Classes offer the opportunity to express your creativity through movement in a fun and supportive environment. All levels of skill and ability are welcome.

two day weekend workshop for youth 14 – 24 years, which offers
participants integrated dance and performance skills. 10 participants
from this weekend workshop will continue to do the youth performance

ENCOMPASS YOUTH PERFORMANCE PILOT PROJECT
27 SEPTEMBER – 9 OCTOBER
Touch
Compass is piloting a youth group project culminating in a performance
in the Tempo Dance Festival at TAPAC in Auckland in October. This
new short work will be choreographed by Sue Cheesman and Suzanne Cowan,
approximately 10 performers will be invited to join this group from
participants that have completed the youth weekend workshop in
September. Rehearsals will run du ring the September and October school holidays in Auckland with two public performances in a shared youth programme.
Touch Compass received the Aotea Award towards this project.
