Hailing from the UK, Charlotte trained in London at the Central School of Speech and Drama. As an actor she has worked in television, film and theatre both in the UK and New Zealand, most recently as character Linda Burgen in Shortland Street in 2016. Charlotte trained as a Teacher in 2004 and subsequently worked in Schools in London. After moving to New Zealand she co-founded Peaches and Pickles Performing Arts in 2010 where she spent 7 years as the company’s Artistic Director; growing the business from a small class in a community hall with 10 children to a multi space Performing Arts facility on the Hibiscus Coast. Charlotte brings with her a wealth of knowledge in arts management, strategic planning, education and training. Charlotte says; “my passion is for diversity and equality in the arts and I believe that by delivering engaging performance that reflects the society we live in we can change people’s perceptions of what art is and who can do it”.
